Network Marketing basics – Need to know 101 for success

Article by OweEng2

A lot of people had heard of this type of marketing but what really is Network Marketing? Network marketing is a general term for a type of marketing that is usually performed by an individual instead of a company. It refers to the use of interpersonal or social networks to market products and services for business purposes as opposed to the more traditional and common practices of wide-range advertising. With the advances of technology, people who want to make more but don’t uses this kind of marketing strategy would be staying behind if they don’t take advantage of it in building our business. Reaching more business associates, contacting leads you make business online, sending emails or giving web seminars are some of the things you can do online. But; how is it possible to build a Network Marketing business using Internet? This article approaches these two questions keeping Network Marketing Individuals in mind.

As there are myriad cases in which the term “network marketing” is used interchangeably with “multi-level marketing” the true meaning of the two terms becomes misunderstood. The boom of Network Marketing was based in face to face meetings, whether at home or in Hotels. As the technology advances, we are able to have prospects all over the world and what started only in your backyard can grow exponentially. When you are using Internet in Network Marketing to build a business, you are taking advantage of a very important aspect of the World Wide Web: its capacity to distribute information.

When you meet a new prospect you always have to be interested in her first. There is a very popular phrase: people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. In Internet you show that you care by giving valuable and useful information. As Network Marketing Moms we have many stories to tell and many tips we have learned (from mistakes, maybe?). How many times have you called someone with background noise like crying babies or barking dogs? Did your toddler wake up from his nap in the middle of a facial? What did you do? What have you learned about time management from working outside the house, tend the children and build a business on top of that? What do you know about distractions that you can’t “shut down” (a.k.a., children!)? You can share all of that and more.

For many people MLM doesn’t make them money. Why is that? Multi Level Marketing got a bad name over the years; it caused companies to change to calling themselves Network Marketing companies. The reason was because people simply wanted to get rich. There is no doubt in my mind that the system works. In fact the internet is based on a similar pattern to Network Marketing, and the internet is now huge!

There are people actively looking for what you have. Not only nice amenities but something they can learn to implement in their business that can help it grow. When you offer value, you position yourself as a leader and a mentor many people will want to follow. Yes, you can build a Network Marketing business online. It’s a different way to interact but not for that less effective.

Time Management Tips – For Professional Network Marketers.

Article by Zebda Horatio

Time Management Tips – For Professional Networkers

At the risk of seeming strange, there are only 2 true words to explain Time Management – Forget IT.

It may appear we are trying to run faster and faster, cramming more “activities” into our waking hours (on the whole our working hours), paying minor heed to the value of the activities we are attempting to fit in.

In the work arena, individuals appear to be inspected, managed and promoted on the bedrock of work volume, rather than the effectiveness of their activities; a lot of brownie points can be acquired by arriving earlier and working later than anyone else in the office.

Now by indicating Time Management is nonsense, as we certainly cannot control it, we can, nevertheless command the items into which we concentrate our concentration, energy and efforts, and use it to our advantage.

Now for the person who is much more involved in results, rather than results by volume, there are 4 aspects to consider:

1. Goal Setting.

2. Pareto’s 80/20 Rule.

3. To Do List.

4. Elimination.

Goal Setting

By possessing a confirmed, well defined direction, we can take stock of and concentrate on the quickest roadway to its attainment. Vague goals result in hours shuffling irrelevant paperwork, frustration and stress.

Pareto’s Principles.

This (repeatedly known as the 80/20 rule) in basic terms recommends that only 20% of our activities (or inputs) are responsible for 80% or our results (or outputs). thus, we fritter 80% of our time on ineffective nonsense.

In essence, by understanding the 20% of results generating activities, we can concentrate our concentration much more efficiently, work less, and yet increase productivity substantially.

To Do List.

Without doubt this is one of the elemental and most effective tools available.

By using a WRITTEN to do list, needs us to focus on the relevant and crucial tasks.

Nevertheless, this is a 3 stage program:

a) Brain storm all the areas necessitating deliberation (just get them down on a piece of paper).

b) Organise in order of importance.

c) Work on the most valuable task until finished- if distracted, attend to the distraction and go back to the task until it is completed. Then, and only then, move onto the next item on the list.

Elimination.

As imperative as it is to concentrate our attention on the 20%, it is just as important to perceive what is needless and eliminate from our life.

In closing, all 4 aspects are inter-related and inter-dependent , with the concordant crucial thought being self-discipline.

If we do not, cannot or will not develop self discipline our lives will come close to little more than the abstract accumulation of our whims, and we will one day wake up questioning why we have worked so hard, yet accomplished so little.

One last word, control e-mail, don’t let it control you!

Something as simple as changing your food shopping times is very effective, going shopping in off peak times like on Tuesday or Wednesday at 3pm to 5pm, instead of high traffic times like 5pm to 7pm on the weekends is a small but good time management strategy.

An over looked tip would be to do your laundry 2 to 3 times a week in small loads as opposed to waiting to doing 5 or more loads on a weekend when you can be getting some well deserved and needed family time in.
